Kayaking is confirmed as part of GTA 6's playable open-world activity set. An Extended Look shows a character actively paddling a kayak through Leonida's waterways, while Rockstar's official screenshots and edition material also feature the Crest Kayak. Mount Kalaga promotional imagery shows paddlers moving through quiet rivers and forested channels, giving the activity a clear connection to the state's wilderness rather than only the beaches around Vice City.
Unlike powered boats and jet skis, kayaking provides slow, low-profile movement that should allow players to explore narrow waterways, mangroves and natural areas at a different pace. The new Crest Kayaks brand reinforces the idea that Rockstar has built recreational paddling into Leonida's consumer culture rather than using a generic unbranded prop.
Kayaks have never been a major controllable vehicle class in previous mainline GTA games, making this one of GTA VI's more distinctive additions. Rockstar has not announced races, stamina costs, fishing integration or whether two-person kayaks exist. The footage nevertheless shows direct paddling and official kayak assets, so the activity itself is firmly established.
