Rumors Hint at Poaching and Wildlife Crime Mechanics in GTA 6
Published on 6/24/2025
As excitement builds around Grand Theft Auto VI, sharp-eyed fans have spotted something intriguing in Rockstar's official images: possible poaching activity and wildlife crime systems.
In one of the released visuals, players noticed scenes showing individuals hunting bobcats and alligators in what appears to be a marshland biome. What caught even more attention was the fact that police vehicles and helicopters are seen pursuing these hunters—suggesting that poaching might not just be ambient behavior, but a potential gameplay mechanic.
Could players be able to engage in or prevent poaching, possibly working with law enforcement to track down illegal hunters? If true, it would add an entirely new environmental and ethical dimension to GTA 6's open world.
Of course, nothing has been officially confirmed by Rockstar yet—but fans are buzzing with theories. Given the studio’s attention to detail and social commentary, such a feature wouldn’t be surprising.
