Description
Parachuting returns as a major traversal and recreation activity in GTA 6. An Extended Look shows Lucia jumping from a high structure in Vice City, entering freefall and then descending under a controllable parachute. The sequence provides long views across the city, bays and artificial islands, demonstrating that aerial movement is not limited to helicopters and planes.
BASE jumping and parachuting have a long GTA history. Parachutes appeared in San Andreas and The Ballad of Gay Tony, while GTA V made parachuting a full side-activity category with dedicated jumps, helicopters and mountain launch points. GTA Online later expanded the system with additional parachuting jobs and stunt formats. GTA VI's version appears visually more fluid and takes advantage of a denser high-rise city and broader vertical world.
Rockstar has not announced a list of jump locations, scoring, landing zones, wingsuits or parachute customization. The footage confirms both freefall and canopy control after a high urban jump, so a combined Parachuting & BASE Jumping page avoids artificially splitting two closely linked mechanics before the final activity structure is known.
